What “unverified suggestion” means
Most places here come from OpenStreetMap, a free map anyone can edit. Someone added the place there, and Trek Eleven has not visited it. It may be closed, private, full or in a different spot. If you find an error, fix it in OpenStreetMap so everyone gains.
About the government lists
A ring on the map is a place from a state government list: a rest area, or a State Forest recreation site. We show each list as supplied, with the month its data is from, and credit it below. These lists can be old, and a rest area is often day-use only, so check the signs. Where a list says a place is closed, we show its words and its dates.
