How we write guides.
Wrong camping information can strand people, so guides follow a few firm rules.
- Rules, fees and dates come only from official pages, such as councils, the Parks and Wildlife Service, the fire service and Main Roads WA.
- We write them in our own words, link every one, and show the date we checked.
- We never describe a campsite we have not checked. Guides send you to the official page instead.
- Each guide ends with a “check before you go” box, because rules and conditions change.
