  • Hipcamp if you would rather book a farm or a paddock than turn up.
  • AussieCamps if you are on an iPhone and want place details stored on the phone.
  • Trek Eleven if you want to see who said a fact and when, set your rig once, and skip the account until you add something.10

Where WikiCamps is still ahead

WikiCamps is on iPhone and Android, keeps maps and up to three planned trips offline, and has community listings, photos and reviews, plus trip planning and bookings.2 Trek Eleven is newer and smaller. Full offline maps, trip planning and bookings are not here yet, and the Android app is still coming.

Try Trek Eleven

Get it in the App Store for iPhone, or open it in your browser. Whichever app you use, check fire bans and closures with the official source before you go.

Find places near you

Our region and Camping near pages list the campsites, caravan parks and rest areas on record in every state and territory, from open data. Each place says whether Trek Eleven has checked it, and unchecked places are only suggestions. They do not say that camping is allowed, free or open, so read the sources above first.
